Information central: With Default Folder X you get previews below every Open dialog, expanded to fill the available space. Spotlight on the spot: Default Folder X lets you add Spotlight keywords, OpenMeta tags, and Finder labels on the spot, while you're still in the Save dialog. Instant Recall: To help you quickly return to folders you've recently used, Default Folder X remembers them for you. Wherever you installed your Band in a Box program files, local primary HD, local secondary HD or partition or if you 'installed' to the supplied USB HD you will find many files and folders in the X:\bb\ folder (X being the drive letter chosen) for installation. Finder management: Default Folder X lets you open up or save to any Finder window with a single click. Add a tag: Select it in the list above the Favorite Tags section, then drag it over the tag you want to replace. Customize the tags you see in the shortcut menu that appears when you Control-click a file.
Real time saving: If you're constantly saving things inside the same folder, Default Folder X can remember that folder for you. Delete a tag: Select the tag, then click the Remove button. All files will now default save to your H: drive. If you have files saved on your C: drive, you can move those manually. A message box may ask you if you want to move the contents of the folder to the new folder. Directory assistant: You can access the contents of your recent, favorite, and open folders right from Default Folder X's toolbar. Click 'Properties' > Select the 'Location' tab. It also fixes a number of problems in Open and Save dialogs, "rebounding" to the last selected file, putting the path listing back in the top menu, and correcting bugs in scrolling column view Type the following path to open the location with the account default folders and click the OK button: Right-click the folder you want to move and select the Properties options. You just click on the buttons to go to your favorite and recently used folders, manage the folders and files shown in the list, and make changes to your settings. The toolbar gives you fast access to various folders and commands. Default Folder X attaches a toolbar to the right side of the Open and Save dialogs in any OS X-native application.
